The National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina brings together elite programs from across the country. For three consecutive seasons, Casteel has earned its place in that field and represented Queen Creek on the national stage.

A historic arrival.

Casteel opened its first NHSI appearance with a 10–0 victory over Wesleyan Christian Academy, announcing the Colts as a program ready to compete on the national stage.

2025

Back on the national stage.

The Colts returned to Cary and showcased their depth with an explosive 15-run victory, building on the standard established during their debut.

2026

Into the semifinals.

Casteel defeated St. John Bosco 3–2 to reach its first NHSI semifinal and finish among the final four teams in the country.

The day Casteel took down No. 1.

St. John Bosco arrived in Cary as MaxPreps' No. 1 team in the country, the reigning California state champion, and a roster stacked with Division I talent. Casteel met that reputation with composure, resilience, and a complete team effort.

The Colts scored first, answered every Bosco response, and pushed the deciding run across in the seventh. A 3–2 quarterfinal victory sent Casteel to its first NHSI semifinal—and gave the program a defining win against the nation's top-ranked team.
